The supporters of Orreboy Royals booed when Nyrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Scherer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finn Schiermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Eliézer Sampaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jørg Wettergren was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nyrup's goalkeeper Jørg Wettergren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Orreboy Royals's Eliézer Sampaio in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nyrup's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliézer Sampaio in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jørg Wettergren saved Nyrup from getting behind. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for René Rosensø to strike the kick off in the second half. Gordon Banke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finn Schiermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Karl-Magnus Törnqvist had several of the Nyrup's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Jørg Wettergren as he didn't even see the shot coming. 63 minutes into the match, Mario Cuevas notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Nyrup's Jørg Wettergren. Jørg Wettergren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliézer Sampaios short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Jørg Wettergren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eliézer Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jørg Wettergren made a huge save. In the 74th match minute, Nyrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Scherer to maneuver through the defense. When Karl-Magnus Törnqvist came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Orreboy Royals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Magnus Törnqvist couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Nyrup's Jørg Wettergren got control of the ball when Eliézer Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Ole Corsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Banke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orreboy Royals made a substitution. Leonard Arenstedt replaced Jörgen Wenerdahl. A collision led to Nyrup getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Johnni Borresen hit a great ball. When Hubert Tinglöf fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orreboy Royals's protests and gave Hubert Tinglöf a yellow card for diving instead. Hubert Tinglöf hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A hard shot 93 in the game by Eliézer Sampaio from a close distance when the talented Jørg Wettergren managed to make a qualified save. Nyrup's players were relieved. Leonard Arenstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jørg Wettergren made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Orreboy Royals were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Nyrup side.
