In the 31st minute Bernd Beike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Leutwyler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, B68 Toftir's Bengt-Arne Blomberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harro Meier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernd Beike kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beat Leutwyler. That made the score 3-2 in the 36 minute of play. If Kostas Kourtis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Harro Meier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. B68 Toftir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YugiPeeK ✈ the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Lizbeth to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernd Beike's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beat Leutwyler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Bernd Beike took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beat Leutwyler. Beat Leutwyler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. In the 91st match minute, B68 Toftir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Lizbeth to maneuver through the defense. Vellito Valsera hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Maximino Goi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harro Meier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
