After 6 minutes of play, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Feng Cheng Ling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregório Neiva in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Rios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feng Cheng Ling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rodrigo Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Gregório Neiva notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of MXL FC's Rodrigo Rios. Rodrigo Rios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 27 minutes of play, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Zarco Lopes in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MXL FC's Rodrigo Tercero. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Gomez in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feng Cheng Ling in the 33rd minute of play forced MXL FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregório Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Rios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregório Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Neiva in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Amancio Martxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MXL FC's Rodrigo Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Abar in the 42nd minute of play. Gregório Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrigo Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Neiva in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Gomez was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Rios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregório Neiva in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Rios. That made the score 0-5 after 54 minutes of play. After 60 minutes, Amancio Martxot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MXL FC and the Mira United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amancio Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Gregório Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Rios. MXL FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregório Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Rodrigo Tercero made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jonathan Cordarin. When Feng Cheng Ling came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Mira United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feng Cheng Ling couldn't finish the play. Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zarco Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, MXL FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Rios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregório Neiva. If Gregório Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MXL FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nel Ybarbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Gregório Neiva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Rios, 0-7. After having played for 88 minutes, Ovidio Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mira United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Argina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feng Cheng Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Gregório Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Rios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Higinio Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
