Arkadiusz Brzonkala might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saturnino Birila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkadiusz Brzonkala ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the game, KS KRUK's Sebastian Szarmach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnino Birila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Universidad Catolica's Saturnino Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Szarmach in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, KS KRUK's Arkadiusz Brzonkala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Szarmach received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saturnino Birila came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Szarmach slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 53rd minute. Saturnino Birila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Szarmach went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Universidad Catolica's Saturnino Birila got control of the ball when Sebastian Szarmach tried to sneak it across the goal line. KS KRUK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Szarmach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Universidad Catolica's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Brzonkala came free, but Saturnino Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walery Cwenar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Saturnino Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jardel das Neves's late challenge caught a KS KRUK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jardel das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Universidad Catolica's Jardel das Neves got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Walery Cwenar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
