The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vygandas Morkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Alvarenga having to interfere. Claudinei Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vygandas Morkus in the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, Torreão OFF's Claudinei Alvarenga got control of the ball when Vygandas Morkus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nadruvis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Danas Pyragis in the 11th minute. The corner led Nadruvis's Danas Pyragis to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudinei Alvarenga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Torreão OFF's Claudinei Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Torreão OFF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Torreão OFF's Dênis Peixoto got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Vygandas Morkus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claudinei Alvarenga, 1-0. Vygandas Morkus didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 19th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Vygandas Morkus ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 22nd match minute, Torreão OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeu Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Danas Pyragis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidijus Rajeckas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Torreão OFF's Claudinei Alvarenga got control of the ball when Daumantas Navikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torreão OFF's Claudinei Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Torreão OFF from getting a goal against them. Vygandas Morkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Robertas Achilas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Claudinei Alvarenga to make any attempt to save it. 42 minutes into the match, Bronislovas Gerdauskas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claudinei Alvarenga, 4-0. The supporters of Nadruvis booed when Torreão OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the game, Vygandas Morkus lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Claudinei Alvarenga. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vygandas Morkus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Torreão OFF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zézinho Cosme hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Vygandas Morkus sped through Torreão OFF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudinei Alvarenga. 64 minutes into the match, Vygandas Morkus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Alvarenga. Torreão OFF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vygandas Morkus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 74 minutes into the game, Nadruvis's Vygandas Morkus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Alvarenga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. In the 77th minute, Vygandas Morkus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Daumantas Navikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Teles hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Nadruvis. Danas Pyragis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claudinei Alvarenga. 12-0. The audience was convinced that Vygandas Morkus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei Alvarenga was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When Vygandas Morkus fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nadruvis's protests and gave Vygandas Morkus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nadruvis getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
