In the 6th minute Joaquin Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute, Franklin Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Abel Ortzi. Club Atletico Gigisones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Franklin Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Ortzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Franklin Schmidt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Júnior Tinoco's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Gigisones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júnior Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. Júnior Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Club Atletico Gigisones got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Blasco. Abel Ortzi came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Franklin Schmidt. But to his dismay, Franklin Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Franklin Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Franklin Schmidt in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Abel Ortzi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 38th minute, Júnior Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Aritza kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA. Júnior Tinoco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Abel Ortzi. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Schmidt in the 46th minute of play forced Club Atletico Gigisones's goalkeeper Abel Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Franklin Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Abel Ortzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Schmidt made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Couto got free with Abel Ortzi in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atletico Gigisones's attentive Fabio Cordario managed to snatch the ball when Narciso Nogueira made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. When THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Franklin Schmidt in 59 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Abel Ortzi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin Schmidt in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Ortzi saved Club Atletico Gigisones from getting behind. After 66 played minutes Club Atletico Gigisones got a freekick which was hit by Americo Guter. In the 67th minute, Franklin Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Ortzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franklin Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Fábio Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Franklin Schmidt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Abel Ortzi stood somewhat misplaced when Franklin Schmidt came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 75 minute. Franklin Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Schmidt. In the 87th match minute, THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Teles to maneuver through the defense. Franklin Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Ortzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franklin Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. Júnior Tinoco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Ortzi. Club Atletico Gigisones's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Franklin Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Ortzi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Couto in the 97th minute of play forced Club Atletico Gigisones's goalkeeper Abel Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Schmidt in the 99th minute of play. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA played a much better game than Club Atletico Gigisones and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico Gigisones players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
