The La Gallardeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute, Dalmacio Gartzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ahmet Gökalp Erensoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes 17.ALAY got a freekick which was hit by Ali Erdem Türegün. 18 minutes into the match, Paolo Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspard Fourny. 17.ALAY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 22 minutes into the game, La Gallardeta's Paolo Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspard Fourny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when 17.ALAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mete Yılğıralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rossi in the 30th minute of play forced 17.ALAY's goalkeeper Gaspard Fourny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Paolo Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspard Fourny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Paolo Rossi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspard Fourny was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Gaspard Fourny came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by La Gallardeta's Paolo Rossi. But to his dismay, Paolo Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ali Erdem Türegün managed to get in a good position for a shot. 17.ALAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Erdem Türegün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Jenaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Gartzea hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The 17.ALAY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Gallardeta were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, 17.ALAY's Gaspard Fourny got control of the ball when Paolo Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ali Erdem Türegün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute Ali Erdem Türegün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Erdem Türegün in the 65th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Paulino Jenaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ali Erdem Türegün notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of La Gallardeta's Paulino Jenaro. Paulino Jenaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Dantae kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaspard Fourny. That made the score 2-5 in the 74 minute of play. After some careless play in the 17.ALAY defense, Fernando Dantae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspard Fourny. The 17.ALAY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspard Fourny should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Gallardeta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
