In the 19thth minute of the game Börge Tidéksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U 1974's Mike Bunt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krister Alfors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Hârtopanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Börge Tidéksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes U 1974 got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Hârtopanu. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Octavian Hârtopanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. U 1974's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavian Hârtopanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krister Alfors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vallbyn FC's Sebastian Malm got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mike Bunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Tidéksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Börge Tidéksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Andriescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Krister Alfors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Fetea kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Klas Falk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mike Bunt skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eneto Vidal made a kick off. Eneto Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Octavian Hârtopanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 67 in the game by Sebastian Malm from a close distance when the talented Mike Bunt managed to make a qualified save. U 1974's players were relieved. Krister Alfors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Hârtopanu's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, U 1974's Alexandru Fetea got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, U 1974 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Fetea to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 71 minutes, Sebastian Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallbyn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Malm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
