When Ariel Esquivel came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sakura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Esquivel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Esquivel in the 7th minute of play forced Alvoha FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Eufrasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Epifanio Beremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Bernebe might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Eufrasio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cayetano Bernebe ran back to his position shaking his head. Rosendo Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Bernebe in the 12th minute of play. Alvoha FC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Sakura FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruperto Quin took the corner. After having played for 17 minutes, Ariel Esquivel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Esquivel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Alonzo Lizar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sakura FC's Astor Polentzi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Alvoha FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alonzo Lizar hit a great ball. When Alvoha FC's Rodrigo Santos in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sakura FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute, Rodrigo Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvoha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Magne Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sakura FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruperto Quin was slow to take the kick. During this time Alvoha FC's players had a chance to rest. Fernan Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Sakura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Beremundo came free, but Magne Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sakura FC's Ariel Esquivel in the 47th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Rosendo Eufrasio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Alvoha FC through an amazing save. Sakura FC's Dušan Vlahović was substituted for Ariel Esquivel. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alvoha FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Jakes was slow to take the kick. During this time Sakura FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sakura FC's corner Artemio Jakes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosendo Eufrasio quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Alvoha FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Beremundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dušan Vlahović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fernan Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dušan Vlahović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Eufrasio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Magne Jönsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rosendo Eufrasio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Valentine went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute Dušan Vlahović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dušan Vlahović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Dušan Vlahović made a precise shot to the right of Rosendo Eufrasio. Alvoha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 81st minute Dušan Vlahović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sakura FC booed when Alvoha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th match minute, Alvoha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Lizar to maneuver through the defense. Dušan Vlahović hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Sakura FC defense, Rodrigo Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magne Jönsson. The Sakura FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magne Jönsson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 91st minute of play forced Alvoha FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Eufrasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Aragones during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Alvoha FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sakura FC:s goal. The referee gave Sakura FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dušan Vlahović, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alvoha FC's Rosendo Eufrasio. 3-3. 95 minutes into the match, Fidel Hermelando notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Sakura FC's Magne Jönsson. Magne Jönsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dušan Vlahović took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Eufrasio. Rosendo Eufrasio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
