An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Ponce in the 15th minute of play forced THE FAVOURITES's goalkeeper Sebastian Zawada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Li Xu Cheng made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Zawada. THE FAVOURITES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 21 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Ponce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sebastian Zawada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Zawada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovando Vera, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jacek Matuch kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Ovando Vera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 43rdth minute of the game Clodoveo Ponce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE FAVOURITES's Sebastian Zawada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, THE FAVOURITES's Jacek Matuch got a free kick in the 44th minute. Li Xu Cheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half MKS Pogoń Szczecin were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Barna to strike the kick off in the second half. Fryderyk Gniewek charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovando Vera got free with Sebastian Zawada in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
