Sofoklis Prinianakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tercero Imperiale in the 14th minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Tercero Imperiale tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sofoklis Prinianakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sofoklis Prinianakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tercero Imperiale's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis got control of the ball when Sven-Ove Kämpe tried to sneak it across the goal line. JELINEBERG's Paolo Azuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Tetley in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tercero Imperiale made a kick off. Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Kämpe in the 54th minute of play. Alexander Longthorn hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tercero Imperiale managed to get in a good position for a shot. JELINEBERG's supporters rose to their feet, but Tercero Imperiale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofoklis Prinianakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henley on Thames United were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after JELINEBERG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Grant Sherwood took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Grant Sherwood got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paolo Azuela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute, Carl Houghton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Paul Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led JELINEBERG's Paul Berg to fire away a dangerous shot which Sofoklis Prinianakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 64 played minutes Henley on Thames United got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Longthorn. Sofoklis Prinianakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tercero Imperiale in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes in the game, Paul Berg dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Bengt-Rune Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute Tercero Imperiale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Houghton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Paolo Azuela made a huge save.
