The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasile Dragomir to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Vasile Dragomir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Denis Paulin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Elian Müller took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Ghimpu. Bogdan Ghimpu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Denis Paulin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adevarul Pur's Bogdan Ghimpu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Ferrer in the 87th minute of play. Denis Paulin made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Pompiliu Cobzeanu sent off a good shot on target. Ştefan Costin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Paulin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Uriel Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Ghimpu was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Adrian Blajovan made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ştefan Costin. Defensores de Lombroso's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
