Angelo Borges started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes PHOENIX SC got a freekick which was hit by Sun Chao Mo. After 4 played minutes PHOENIX SC got a freekick which was hit by Haji Bandell. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagner Kill in the 7th minute of the match. Edelmiro Lorenz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Vladimir de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Ernesto Illart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wagner Kill in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wagner Kill came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wagner Kill in the 24th minute of play forced PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Attila Toldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attila Toldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hanung Sephtianda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Grzegorz Szamotulski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hanung Sephtianda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 37th playminute. In the 39th minute of the match, Angelo Borges tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hanung Sephtianda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of PHOENIX SC booed when Diablofaryd F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Maurin didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Maurin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir de Sena in the 51st minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Diablofaryd F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Firmo to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Borges came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Edelmiro Lorenz made a precise shot to the right of Ray Clemence. PHOENIX SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnar Deisler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ray Clemence. That made the score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wagner Kill got free with Ray Clemence in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Deisler in the 92nd minute of play. The PHOENIX SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Diablofaryd F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Diablofaryd F.C..
