Dráusio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráusio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Dráusio Costa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gaudencio Errolan, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 21st minute, LTA FC's Edgar Parajewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Giménez. After 27 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Millrick. In the 31st minute, LTA FC's Inocencio Ariando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carroll Hathaway. Carroll Hathaway yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Carroll Hathaway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Parajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Reis in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Parajewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Carroll Hathaway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barto Sánchez in the 51st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Armando Prado put in a rough tackle. Gaudencio Errolan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Parajewski in the 56th minute of play.
