In the 13th minute of the match, Tibor Virág tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudinho Taffarel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Márton Gervai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Márton Gervai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wellington Coutinho's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Maya Football Group's Marco Albuquerque got a free kick in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Capixaba during the 25th minute. The throw-in from Matías Bezerra in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vizsla Academy Budapest's Dávid Kárpáti. Dávid Kárpáti hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Wellington Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márton Gervai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Márton Gervai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Virág in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Maya Football Group were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo Gonçalves got free with Márton Gervai in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dávid Balogh came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Vizsla Academy Budapest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dávid Balogh couldn't finish the play. Maya Football Group played a much better game than Vizsla Academy Budapest and deserved their victory. The Vizsla Academy Budapest players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
