Saul Goodman took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Elmhuus. Nils Elmhuus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nils Elmhuus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Goodman's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The corner led Villa Verde FC's Durval Leão to fire away a dangerous shot which Nils Elmhuus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Red Army's Mehrab Rohani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Mouricio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Wesley Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Elmhuus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Red Army defense, Wesley Basso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Elmhuus. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Elmhuus should have stopped the shot. Red Army's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Goodman in the 26th minute of play. Saul Goodman took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Elmhuus. Nils Elmhuus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Nils Elmhuus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Goodman in the 32nd minute of the match. Villa Verde FC's Damian Mouricio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Verde FC from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Saul Goodman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Red Army's Nils Elmhuus. Nils Elmhuus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehrab Rohani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Damian Mouricio made a huge save. Ali Karimi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 苏树建 was the one to do the kick off. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Army's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Villa Verde FC's Luís Guilherme Cearense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nils Elmhuus. That made the score 0-5 after 68 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Army's zone, Wesley Basso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Elmhuus came out of the goal and Wesley Basso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Alexsandro Garcia replaced Wesley Basso. The supporters of Villa Verde FC booed when Red Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hossein Fatehi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Luís Guilherme Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Elmhuus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Verde FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
