Eddy Diederich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şeray Gürgen in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, 冯永宽 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Illinois Bluewaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 22 minutes, Danilo Maranhense made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. LuxTor's Eddy Diederich tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the game, 冯永宽 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Eddy Diederich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute 冯永宽 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Diederich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Maranhense in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddy Diederich saved LuxTor from getting behind. If Şeray Gürgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Illinois Bluewaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şeray Gürgen to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Maranhense was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Danilo Maranhense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eddy Diederich, 0-5. Eddy Diederich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Maranhense in the 58th minute. Andre Fabel scored 1-5 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Myles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the game, 冯永宽 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. A well-hit corner resulted in Mar Cao heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by 冯永宽 in the 91st minute of play forced LuxTor's goalkeeper Eddy Diederich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
