In the 44th minute, one of Wykopki KS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wykopki KS. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Union Sportive Modane. Marty Byrde stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bartlomiej Banach. 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marty Byrde to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Wykopki KS's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Banach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marty Byrde. Wykopki KS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Marty Byrde scored to the left of an out of position Bartlomiej Banach, making the score, 0-2. A collision led to Wykopki KS getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lukasz Jerzyk hit a great ball. Bartlomiej Banach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Byrde in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Union Sportive Modane's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Wejta came free, but Ignacy Milan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Marty Byrde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartlomiej Banach was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Marty Byrde had several of the Wykopki KS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Bartlomiej Banach as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 86th minute, Keimo Peuhkuri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 95 played minutes Wykopki KS got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Ostrowski. 95 minutes into the match, Union Sportive Modane's Marty Byrde broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Union Sportive Modane's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
