The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Sport Açores e Benfica's goalkeeper Sérgio Viegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Qian Peng. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Shi Qian Peng put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sérgio Viegas. After 11 played minutes Kerimhan Özonder rounded Sport Açores e Benfica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Qian Peng in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Samuel Salgueiro charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Salgueiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sérgio Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Qian Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Shi Qian Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sport Açores e Benfica's Rogério Vigário got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Qian Peng in the 39th minute of play forced Sport Açores e Benfica's goalkeeper Sérgio Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altos Gatos FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Sport Açores e Benfica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kerimhan Özonder took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Mihkel Äss to score against Sérgio Viegas in Sport Açores e Benfica's goal. 6-0 after 44 minutes.

The corner led Altos Gatos FC's Leo Rosario to fire away a dangerous shot which Sérgio Viegas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Andres Barto notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Sport Açores e Benfica's Sérgio Viegas. Sérgio Viegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sport Açores e Benfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altos Gatos FC the free kick. A collision led to Sport Açores e Benfica getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jacob Rocha hit a great ball. Sérgio Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Sport Açores e Benfica's Egídio Mesquita got a free kick in the 90th minute. Sérgio Viegas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carolo Abancens went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Corderun in the 96th minute of play forced Sport Açores e Benfica's goalkeeper Sérgio Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
