The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Volkan in the 6th minute of play forced Türkgücü Ülküspor's goalkeeper Roman Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If İbrahim Volkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aguinaga Nebot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Can Naşit in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Türkgücü Ülküspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Hakkı Saye to maneuver through the defense. Roman Matxin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damian Maftei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Semail Taşkıner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aguinaga Nebot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

51 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s İbrahim Volkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Matxin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aguinaga Nebot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Nikola in the 55th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Nikola. After 67 minutes, Mustafa Hakan Deren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Türkgücü Ülküspor and the Esmeraldas S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roman Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Volkan in the 80th minute of the match. Türkgücü Ülküspor's Roman Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Volkan in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Türkgücü Ülküspor's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Roman Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Maftei in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matxin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roman Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Maftei in the 90th minute of play. Türkgücü Ülküspor:s Roman Matxin showed great skill when he stopped Niki Borda:s penalty. Niki Borda scored 4-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Matxin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erman Üstam in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Barış Arkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Esmeraldas S.C. had played much better football throughout.
