When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Carlos Alvarez put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ermanno Di Rocco. FC Philotimo's Carlos Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Philotimo's Alexandro Gavilanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Di Leonardo in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, FC Philotimo's Patricio Igartua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermanno Di Rocco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 24th minute Fabio Sciamanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandro Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's Carlos Alvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermanno Di Rocco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermanno Di Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alvarez in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alvarez in the 29th minute of play forced Ginnastica Mentale's goalkeeper Ermanno Di Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Carlos Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermanno Di Rocco. Ginnastica Mentale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 37 minutes, Carlos Alvarez made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ginnastica Mentale's Ermanno Di Rocco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Alvarez took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermanno Di Rocco. Ermanno Di Rocco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alvarez in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermanno Di Rocco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the match, Carlos Alvarez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ermanno Di Rocco, 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Moreschi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Ginnastica Mentale defense, Carlos Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermanno Di Rocco. The Ginnastica Mentale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermanno Di Rocco should have stopped the shot. FC Philotimo's Lucílio Vilanova was substituted for Xeromo Garibay. FC Philotimo's Roman Quiros was substituted for Patricio Igartua. FC Philotimo's Figueroa Machado was substituted for Carlos Alvarez. A collision led to Ginnastica Mentale getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alessandro Sisti hit a great ball. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Elco Vid hit a great ball. Alessandro Sisti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandro Gavilanes. FC Philotimo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Figueroa Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermanno Di Rocco. Ginnastica Mentale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Figueroa Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Alexandro Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Moreschi in the 79th minute of the match. The FC Philotimo fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when FC Philotimo's Figueroa Machado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ermanno Di Rocco didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Philotimo's Figueroa Machado shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 12-0 in the ordered_time% minute. FC Philotimo's Figueroa Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 minutes of play, FC Philotimo's Figueroa Machado made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermanno Di Rocco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexandro Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gelsomini, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ginnastica Mentale were furious when Cristoforo Bottone was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ginnastica Mentale! The referee gave FC Philotimo a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Figueroa Machado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ginnastica Mentale's Ermanno Di Rocco. 14-0.
