Wittbach SSA's Grzegorz Czapski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Wittbach SSA from getting a goal against them. Szymon Konieczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Motowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mieszko Borkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Czapski made a huge save. In the 29th minute Aarre Rautee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Konieczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fifth Chicken's zone, Millan Matas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szymon Konieczny came out of the goal and Millan Matas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mieszko Borkowski took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Czapski. Grzegorz Czapski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edílson Souza was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fifth Chicken's Cezary Bartochowski got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Wittbach SSA's Jacky Wilshere sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Szymon Konieczny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wittbach SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Millan Matas in the 54th minute. Millan Matas made a great header on Wittbach SSA's corner, it was just that Fifth Chicken's Szymon Konieczny managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Wittbach SSA getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Borys Kolba hit a great ball. Mieszko Borkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Wittbach SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Edílson Souza came free, but Grzegorz Czapski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Aarre Rautee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Wittbach SSA getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Tipinski in the 83rd minute of play forced Wittbach SSA's goalkeeper Grzegorz Czapski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fifth Chicken booed when Wittbach SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Lato didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wittbach SSA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fifth Chicken.
