Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Messi in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Ali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Bezerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jess Carnduff came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Bezerra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mauro Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schuster's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jess Carnduff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mauro Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Bezerra in the 20th minute of play forced Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Schuster's Mauro Bezerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jess Carnduff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donato Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Bezerra in the 24th minute of play. Mauro Bezerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jess Carnduff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Bezerra ran back to his position shaking his head. After 26 minutes, Mauro Bezerra made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th play minute Mauro Bezerra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jess Carnduff. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Müller in the 32nd minute of play forced Schuster's goalkeeper Donato Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alemannia Aachen's Lech Wawrukiewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Donato Ali in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Schuster's Mauro Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Ali having to interfere. With a little luck, Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff got control of the ball when Mauro Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Jess Carnduff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Bezerra's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 55 minutes, Cristiano Messi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alemannia Aachen and the Schuster players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro Bezerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jess Carnduff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Bezerra ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Müller got free with Donato Ali in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauro Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jess Carnduff came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Schuster's Mauro Bezerra. But to his dismay, Mauro Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of Schuster booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aulis Salomaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Donato Ali made a huge save. Donato Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 76th minute of play. Jess Carnduff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Bezerra went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Alemannia Aachen defense, Musko Cuevas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jess Carnduff. The Alemannia Aachen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jess Carnduff should have stopped the shot. When Cristiano Messi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. In the 89th match minute, Alemannia Aachen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Messi to maneuver through the defense. Donato Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Musko Cuevas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
