Gennadiy Demyanenko scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jedrzej Galus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Warta Czestochowa's Jedrzej Galus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Aganin in the 21st minute of play. Mikhail Ignatov took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jedrzej Galus. Jedrzej Galus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jedrzej Galus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gennadiy Demyanenko went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jedrzej Galus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Demyanenko in the 35th minute of the match. Jedrzej Galus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiy Dorenskiy in the 39th minute of play. Mikhail Ignatov struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jedrzej Galus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krasnodar FC. After the first half Krasnodar FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gennadiy Demyanenko made the kick off in the second half. If Ksawery Bienienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikhail Ignatov made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 54thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jedrzej Galus would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After having played for 56 minutes, Gennadiy Demyanenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Krasnodar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gennadiy Demyanenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Mikhail Ignatov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Warta Czestochowa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Gennadiy Demyanenko scored to the left of an out of position Jedrzej Galus, making the score, 0-4. Jedrzej Galus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikhail Ignatov in the 73rd minute. Gennadiy Demyanenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jedrzej Galus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacy Joks hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Warta Czestochowa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonid Malafeev was slow to take the kick. During this time Krasnodar FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 86th minute, Barry Kent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matvey Ermolin got free with Jedrzej Galus in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gennadiy Demyanenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Galus having to interfere. If Gennadiy Demyanenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gennadiy Demyanenko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jedrzej Galus was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Jedrzej Galus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gennadiy Demyanenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Warta Czestochowa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Krasnodar FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Krasnodar FC.
