In a very dangerous position, a player in A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA:s Éder Póvoas showed great skill when he stopped Carlos Eduardo da Silveira:s penalty. Éder Póvoas came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Rio Cuarto's Carlos Eduardo da Silveira. But to his dismay, Carlos Eduardo da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Éder Póvoas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Inautzi in the 8th minute of play. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Rio Cuarto from getting a goal against them. Samuel Mesquita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Éder Póvoas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Inautzi in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Angelino Inautzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Éder Póvoas was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Gonçalo Pinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardino Dimas. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. Éder Póvoas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Rúben Cortez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardino Dimas, 2-1. Léo Giansanti was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rúben Cortez got free with Bernardino Dimas in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Mesquita came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Mesquita in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Dimas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Samuel Mesquita notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas. Bernardino Dimas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Inautzi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Angelino Inautzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Éder Póvoas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. With a little luck, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Éder Póvoas got control of the ball when Angelino Inautzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Neymar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Léo Giansanti in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bernardino Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rúben Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Rúben Cortez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Dimas. Atlético Rio Cuarto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rúben Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Fernando Bras was substituted for Melquiades Jakobe. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Bruno Tabor took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Éder Póvoas to make any attempt to save it. After 88 played minutes A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA got a freekick which was hit by Januário Gois. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Bernardino Dimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Léo Giansanti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA fully deserved thier win.
