To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rebentala FC's goalkeeper Paolo Milian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Eusebio Txanton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Kléber Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebentala FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislav Kubový kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Emanuel Reno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gláuber Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
