In the 17th minute, Nicanor Aragones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yupandú FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tudur Fitriansyah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Clemente having to interfere. Isaac Illan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Wander Suzanne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisc Ozon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gwidon Michalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Clemente having to interfere. Yupandú FC's Francisc Ozon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Yupandú FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wander Suzanne got free with Francisc Ozon in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Björn Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Ozon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Yupandú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudur Fitriansyah to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Clemente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Michalski in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Charlotte FC's zone, Nemesio Cordaryal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Clemente came out of the goal and Nemesio Cordaryal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mitchell Curry hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's Eloy Betadur broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The wind increased when Gwidon Michalski made the kick off in the second half. Francisc Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaja Jamak in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Cayetano Fernado had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 56 minutes, Mitchell Curry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charlotte FC and the Yupandú FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yupandú FC made a substitution. Leonel Savier replaced Cayetano Fernado. The supporters of Yupandú FC booed when Charlotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitchell Curry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Michalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Yupandú FC's Nicanor Aragones got a free kick in the 69th minute. Gwidon Michalski might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Clemente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gwidon Michalski ran back to his position shaking his head. Yupandú FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
