With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michal Wolniewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Hernandez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Michal Wolniewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Johans's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Johans in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michal Wolniewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Bob Hinkler put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Michal Wolniewicz. In the 28th minute, Gener Daoang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michal Wolniewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Johans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihail Stroia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Hernandez in the 30th minute. Nueva Caledonia's Bentong Macapugay got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Nueva Caledonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bentong Macapugay to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Bob Hinkler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Michal Wolniewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Nueva Caledonia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sentimiento Auriazul were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Hernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Sentimiento Auriazul fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Sentimiento Auriazul's Felix Johans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Sentimiento Auriazul were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Nueva Caledonia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisito Behe took the corner. Sentimiento Auriazul's Santos Gergori was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Michal Wolniewicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 68 minutes into the game, Felix Johans lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Michal Wolniewicz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Johans got free with Michal Wolniewicz in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the game, Felix Johans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Michal Wolniewicz. Felix Johans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Nueva Caledonia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Felix Johans scored to the left of an out of position Michal Wolniewicz, making the score, 0-9. Guillermo Dalmu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michal Wolniewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Dalmu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Johans in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michal Wolniewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Felix Johans sped through Nueva Caledonia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michal Wolniewicz. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sentimiento Auriazul eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
