Gu Chang Peng started the match with the kick off. La Cosa Nostra's Tytus Lepper quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Prospero Tomi, made in the 6th minute of the game. La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Löfdahl in the 8th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Otterlei. In the 15th minute La Cosa Nostra were awarded a corner. Arnaldo Perpinya went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16th minute Gu Chang Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Gu Chang Peng came free, but Joel Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Perpinya came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aldo Mannie could save by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Perpinya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aldo Mannie, 1-0. Aldo Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Otterlei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Mannie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Boniel in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Gu Chang Peng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ripa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gu Chang Peng in the 36th minute of play. Ripa FC's Placido Pero was substituted for Romain Declerck. Mateo Lalla made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Cosa Nostra's Sergio Martxel. In the 41st minute, Gu Chang Peng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Delfino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hans Otterlei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Mannie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Ripa FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ripa FC's Mateo Lalla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sergio Martxel in the 57 minute of the game. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gu Chang Peng in the 60th minute of the match. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Marciano Bizen replaced Hans Otterlei. Ripa FC made a substitution. Ricardo Bochini replaced Kazimierz Domin. Joel Suarez made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Steve Hodge. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Bizen in the 78th minute of play. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Bizen in the 80th minute of play. La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 82nd minute of play. Ripa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Bochini in the 84th minute. The La Cosa Nostra supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ripa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ripa FC.
