An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 12th minute of play forced Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalkeeper Agustin Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Eduardo Orlanda to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Mannie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Richie in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akil Tüney in the 39th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Richie was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Placido Pero. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Agustin Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 95th minute of play. In the 98th minute Franz Grassme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
