The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes, Stachorówka's Eugeniusz Tworek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Paulo Prata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stachorówka reached it. After 6 minutes, Roman Dzerwucki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stachorówka and the Sporting Malvinas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stachorówka's Roman Dzerwucki got a free kick in the 6th minute. Stachorówka's Dariusz Podowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Sampaio in the 11th minute of play. Sporting Malvinas's Nilton Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dariusz Podowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Santos in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Stachorówka getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Florian Kaczor hit a great ball. Júlio Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dariusz Podowski having to make a save. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nilton Sampaio sped through Stachorówka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dariusz Podowski. José Paulo Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Babicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Nilton Sampaio in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Jonas Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dariusz Podowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sporting Malvinas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fernão Magalhães hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Sporting Malvinas got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Sampaio. José Paulo Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Babicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Stachorówka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Jardel Perez scored to the left of an out of position Dariusz Podowski, making the score, 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hieronim Puszynski was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Stachorówka getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Boguslaw Jaktorowo hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Nilton Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernão Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hieronim Puszynski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but José Paulo Prata made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Stachorówka's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Perez came free, but Dariusz Podowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Dzerwucki hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Nilton Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Podowski having to interfere. When Nilton Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Malvinas's protests and gave Nilton Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Stachorówka booed when Sporting Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stachorówka's Dariusz Podowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Barreto in the 74th minute of play. Sporting Malvinas's José Paulo Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Malvinas from getting a goal against them. José Paulo Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Puszynski in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Nilton Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Malvinas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. If Afonso Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Luís Fernando Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Podowski was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Stachorówka defense, Afonso Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dariusz Podowski. The Stachorówka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dariusz Podowski should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sporting Malvinas had played much better football throughout.
