Sunkens Surtröjor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Rydelius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Enström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Caroll Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincent Åkerberg was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Sebastian Drewitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torsten Ljungberg. Sebastian Drewitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Sonny Friberger kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Sune Pilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Magnus Anundsson's late challenge caught a Buksvinens IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Anundsson helped the player get up and apologised. Caroll Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 79th match minute, Buksvinens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Drewitz to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Erik Källberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. The Buksvinens IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
