The tension between the Scheia and the FC Buciumii players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Dan Florean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Giubelean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ernest Mortu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Mortu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Plopeanu in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute Laurențiu Dinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Mortu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viorel Aluneanu charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viorel Aluneanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Scheia getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Viorel Aluneanu hit a great ball. Laurențiu Dinescu scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Mortu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Buciumii's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Petru Plopeanu was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ernest Mortu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Plopeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Laurențiu Dinescu scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Mortu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernest Mortu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Plopeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Laurențiu Dinescu took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Mortu. Ernest Mortu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ernest Mortu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurențiu Dinescu went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the match, Scheia's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Ştiubei came free, but Ernest Mortu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Mortu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Plopeanu in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Scheia's Viorel Aluneanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luca Magherescu. That made the score 1-4 after 47 minutes of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Petru Plopeanu made the kick off in the second half. Ernest Mortu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Giubelean in the 53rd minute. Ernest Mortu made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Sebastian Giubelean sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, FC Buciumii's Ernest Mortu threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurelian Ştiubei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ernest Mortu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Plopeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scheia's Ernest Mortu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Ştiubei in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Scheia's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Dinescu came free, but Ernest Mortu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, FC Buciumii's Sebastian Giubelean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernest Mortu. Ernest Mortu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After a rather tough play, Scheia's Ovidiu Tăgorean got a free kick in the 76th minute. Scheia's Ernest Mortu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Scheia from getting a goal against them. Laurențiu Dinescu, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Scheia's Ernest Mortu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Scheia from getting a goal against them. Aurelian Ştiubei made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Scheia's Dan Florean. In the 88th minute of the match Calistrat Mălăncioiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luca Magherescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Schiau charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Victor Curăreanu took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luca Magherescu. Luca Magherescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Petru Plopeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Mortu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Ernest Mortu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Gheondea in the 96th minute of play. A collision led to Scheia getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Calistrat Mălăncioiu hit a great ball. Aurelian Ştiubei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Mortu having to interfere. FC Buciumii's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
