Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Calistrat Tomozei made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Vasile Pacuraru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vasile Pacuraru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Emilio Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes in the game Ion Mitrea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Isac Răduț. The supporters of BANAT VIOLA booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Paveliuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Crăciunaș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Hănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Liviu Hănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Crăciunaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Trapcea. The supporters of BANAT VIOLA booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Trapcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calistrat Tomozei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Calistrat Tomozei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Miconi was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Gigi Barbu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BANAT VIOLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigi Barbu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Cristian Crăciunaș got control of the ball when Iustinian Negulici tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 minutes, Ioan Ghinescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BANAT VIOLA and the Fotbal Club Vaslui players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Ioan Ghinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liviu Hănescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Emilio Miconi managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Fotbal Club Vaslui's Vasile Pacuraru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th minute Vasile Pacuraru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Miconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Crăciunaș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Hănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, BANAT VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Uncheşu came free, but Emilio Miconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Miconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Tomozei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionuț Lunca's late challenge caught a BANAT VIOLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionuț Lunca helped the player get up and apologised. Ionuț Lunca hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. BANAT VIOLA made a substitution. Mihai Tatulici replaced Remus Vasiliu. The BANAT VIOLA fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when BANAT VIOLA's Liviu Hănescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Tomozei to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Crăciunaș came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by BANAT VIOLA's Liviu Hănescu. But to his dismay, Liviu Hănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 82 minutes into the match, Isac Răduț notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Fotbal Club Vaslui's Cristian Crăciunaș. Cristian Crăciunaș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Isac Răduț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Crăciunaș was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Vasile Pacuraru made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 91stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Emilio Miconi would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BANAT VIOLA had won after a very even match.
