Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) 4 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Zbârciog came free, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatoly Karpov, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatoly Karpov in the 9th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Octavian Gaciu put in a rough tackle. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Octavian Gaciu hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Sabin Miclauș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octav Tănasă during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Brad in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Cornoiu in the 26th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Ekhemos Kezdoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekhemos Kezdoglou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anatoly Karpov's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after FC Acatar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petre Zbârciog took the corner. Gelu Cornoiu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoly Karpov in the 31st minute of play. Nechifor Brad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekhemos Kezdoglou having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Cornoiu in the 35th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Ekhemos Kezdoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alin Chiru took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Lițiu. Aron Lițiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Anatoly Karpov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Miclauș in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alin Chiru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoly Karpov in the 51st minute of play. Ekhemos Kezdoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatoly Karpov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoly Karpov in the 68th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Ekhemos Kezdoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
