Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iurie Bănățeanu got the match started through his kick off. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Constantiniu in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatan Ibrahimov came free, but Valer Onișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valer Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Constantiniu in the 6th minute of play. Valer Onișoru came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO PLOIESTI's Eduard Constantiniu. But to his dismay, Eduard Constantiniu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Claudiu Dragan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valer Onișoru. Valer Onișoru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Valer Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Constantiniu in the 17th minute of play. Valer Onișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Dragan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valer Onișoru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Constantiniu in the 20th minute of the match. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Constantiniu in the 21st minute of play. Valer Onișoru came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO PLOIESTI's Claudiu Dragan. But to his dismay, Claudiu Dragan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sebastian Culcer got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Eduard Constantiniu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Eduard Constantiniu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eduard Constantiniu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of DINAMO PLOIESTI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eduard Constantiniu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 36 minutes into the game, one of DINAMO PLOIESTI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Adnan Golubović had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Octavian Chiriacescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 38th minute, Octavian Chiriacescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adnan Golubović. The goal made the score 1-5. Claudiu Dragan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Dragan was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenios Saridakis came free, but Valer Onișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Valer Onișoru got control of the ball when Claudiu Dragan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valer Onișoru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Moura in the 59th minute. After 61 minutes, Sebastian Culcer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and the DINAMO PLOIESTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Culcer hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Valer Onișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Dragan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valer Onișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenios Saridakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Zlatan Ibrahimov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Valer Onișoru made a huge save. When Sebastian Culcer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Sebastian Culcer kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's zone, Claudiu Dragan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valer Onișoru came out of the goal and Claudiu Dragan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valer Onișoru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatan Ibrahimov in the 82nd minute of the match. When Claudiu Dragan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the DINAMO PLOIESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Dragan couldn't finish the play. DINAMO PLOIESTI played a much better game than PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and deserved their victory. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
