Tobiasz Kilarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Zajac, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Matthías Sammer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobiasz Kilarski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zbyszek Borucki kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Ebi Smolarek came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ebi Smolarek couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Rafal Zajac sped through The Vikings's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobiasz Kilarski. In the 26th minute Ebi Smolarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Kilarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Zula Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Borucki in the 30th minute of play. Tobiasz Kilarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Odonkor in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Rafal Zajac notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of The Vikings's Tobiasz Kilarski. Tobiasz Kilarski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37thth minute of the game Zbyszek Borucki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Zula Piesciuk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute of the match, Lukasz Solak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zula Piesciuk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Igor Jaruzelski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobiasz Kilarski having to interfere. Zula Piesciuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Borucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute of the match, Lukasz Solak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zula Piesciuk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After the first half BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Zula Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Borucki in the 53rd minute of play. Zula Piesciuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Solak, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Bogdan Dembowski hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Matthías Sammer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 61st playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Rafal Zajac slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobiasz Kilarski. That made the score 0-5 after 66 minutes of play. Rafal Zajacs short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Tobiasz Kilarski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Matthías Sammer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Tobiasz Kilarski made a huge save. Rafal Zajac who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Tobiasz Kilarski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Odonkor scored 0-6 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobiasz Kilarski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafal Zajac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Tobiasz Kilarski made a huge save.
