If Milosz Ankiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes of play, Bialski Bastion Legii's Boguslaw Bartochowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iwan Fafinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Okraszewski during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bialski Bastion Legii booed when AKS Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Okraszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bialski Bastion Legii's Marek Malik got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tytus Ranowiecki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Florian Czapski made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Tytus Ranowiecki took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Florian Czapski to make any attempt to save it. After 32 minutes, Tytus Ranowiecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKS Chorzów and the Bialski Bastion Legii players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tytus Ranowiecki to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Bartochowski came free, but Iwan Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Marek Malik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Fafinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to AKS Chorzów getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tadeusz Siembab hit a great ball. Szymon Sochacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Iwan Fafinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Bialski Bastion Legii were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boguslaw Bartochowski was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Emil Budzynski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKS Chorzów and the Bialski Bastion Legii players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emil Budzynski hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Szymon Sochacki in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iwan Fafinski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hugon Polkoski lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bialski Bastion Legii! After 55 minutes of play, AKS Chorzów's Tytus Ranowiecki made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Ranowiecki in the 64th minute of play forced Bialski Bastion Legii's goalkeeper Florian Czapski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szymon Sochacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Fafinski having to interfere. Tytus Ranowiecki struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Florian Czapski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKS Chorzów. Florian Czapski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Ranowiecki in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tytus Ranowiecki in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Czapski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Szymon Sochacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AKS Chorzów's Iwan Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Ankiewicz in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Budzynski to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Malik came free, but Iwan Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bialski Bastion Legii players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
