Jesse Tallqvist came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Daustad's Fridtjof Ferstad. But to his dismay, Fridtjof Ferstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Dark Sons of Omar's Esa Tuomisaari got a free kick in the 6th minute. Jesse Tallqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Stavnes in the 7th minute of play. Jesse Tallqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Stavnes went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute Fridtjof Ferstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Tallqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesse Tallqvist came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Daustad's Fridtjof Ferstad. But to his dismay, Fridtjof Ferstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Elmo Liimatainen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Erik Grøneng made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Dark Sons of Omar's goal looked a bit too open when Fridtjof Ferstad came free, but Jesse Tallqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Dark Sons of Omar's Tommi Toivonen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tommi Toivonen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dark Sons of Omar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tommi Toivonen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Daustad a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fridtjof Ferstad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dark Sons of Omar's Jesse Tallqvist. 0-5. Martin Stavnes scored 0-6 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesse Tallqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute Martin Stavnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Tallqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Fridtjof Ferstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Tallqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Martin Stavnes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Daustad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Sons of Omar the free kick. The supporters of Dark Sons of Omar booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Stavnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Daustad were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mika Luhtio was the one to do the kick off. Jesse Tallqvist came out of the goal and Martin Stavnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Stein-Roger Omholt. 74 minutes into the match, Fridtjof Ferstad notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Dark Sons of Omar's Jesse Tallqvist. Jesse Tallqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Kjell Lier got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Martin Stavnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daustad's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Stavnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesse Tallqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Dark Sons of Omar's Petri Hautaoja got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Martin Stavnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daustad's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Stavnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesse Tallqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Dark Sons of Omar's goalkeeper Jesse Tallqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Stavnes. Jesse Tallqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fridtjof Ferstad in the 85th minute. Daustad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
