Joel Kann's late challenge caught a Hannover Reds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Kann helped the player get up and apologised. Joel Kann kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Dominik Klemt kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Bak came free, but Kalvi Hani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Till Geppert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Rebas in the 8th minute of the match. Roland Rebas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalvi Hani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Bak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Klemt in the 20th minute of play forced FC Viplala's goalkeeper Kalvi Hani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hannover Reds getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mathieu Freudenberger hit a great ball. Kalvi Hani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Bak, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. FC Viplala's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ainar Remmel in the 36th minute. The corner led FC Viplala's Ainar Remmel to fire away a dangerous shot which Till Geppert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC Viplala's Joel Kann got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Till Geppert made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Roland Rebas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Hannover Reds's zone, Joel Kann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Till Geppert came out of the goal and Joel Kann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Hannover Reds were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute Joel Kann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Geppert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Viplala's Kalvi Hani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Viplala from getting a goal against them. Till Geppert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Rebas's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Bak came free, but Kalvi Hani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Viplala's Kalvi Hani got control of the ball when Jon Bak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Üllar Kobakäpp hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Immanuel Baumann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kalvi Hani. The goal made the score 1-2. With a little luck, FC Viplala's Kalvi Hani got control of the ball when Dominik Klemt tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Paavo Burgdorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, FC Viplala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ainar Remmel to maneuver through the defense. The Hannover Reds players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
