Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Pat Charles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Valiant F.C getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jay Little hit a great ball. In the 6th minute Pat Charles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Bachmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Monschke came free, but Glyn Wedlock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Bachmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Little, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Valiant F.C booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Balzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pat Charles might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Bachmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pat Charles ran back to his position shaking his head. SSV Ulm 1846's Simon Bachmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save SSV Ulm 1846 from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Monschke came free, but Glyn Wedlock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Valiant F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Constable to maneuver through the defense. Niclas Monschke took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glyn Wedlock. Glyn Wedlock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. SSV Ulm 1846's Simon Bachmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save SSV Ulm 1846 from getting a goal against them. After the first half SSV Ulm 1846 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jay Little took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Bachmann. Simon Bachmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Archie Edgson fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valiant F.C's protests and gave Archie Edgson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valiant F.C's Archie Edgson got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th match minute, SSV Ulm 1846 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Monschke to maneuver through the defense. Pat Charles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Simon Bachmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Otfried Lintorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Otfried Lintorf sped through Valiant F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Glyn Wedlock. Charlie Monk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Bachmann having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Charlie Monk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Simon Bachmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Bachmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pat Charles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Laslo Geier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glyn Wedlock. Valiant F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laslo Geier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. A collision led to Valiant F.C getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Allan Cross hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SSV Ulm 1846 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
