Midtun Fc's Roy Jama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svein Knarvik in the 7th minute of play. Birger Hammerstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bård Hem in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Svein Knarvik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Midtun Fc's Roy Jama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pål Brun lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Skytta Toppidrettslag:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Midtun Fc:s goal. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Midtun Fc. Laurits Høiby stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Birger Hammerstad. 0-1. When Øyvind Fadnes fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skytta Toppidrettslag's protests and gave Øyvind Fadnes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Skytta Toppidrettslag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øyvind Fadnes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Midtun Fc booed when Skytta Toppidrettslag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Martin Lium didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Wilhelm Leiknes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match Øyvind Fadnes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roy Jama showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Martin Norheim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roy Jama skillfully saved the ball. The Skytta Toppidrettslag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birger Hammerstad should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Midtun Fc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
