The tension between the Gotham City and the Bakaliarιοka BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Sakis Maistros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Di Falco was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Bakaliarιοka BC's goalkeeper Panagiotis Vaggelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Olmi. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Olmi to make the kick off.
