Giorgos Katzelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lamine Valente in the 7th minute of the match. Brendan Menguy in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Giorgos Katzelis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Richard Gaillet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Giorgos Katzelis made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Elegance Dijon's Brendan Menguy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giorgos Katzelis. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 15th minute Lamine Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Katzelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathieu Gaud got free with Giorgos Katzelis in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omer Grosse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Apostolakoglou in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Valente came free, but Giorgos Katzelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lamine Valente scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgos Katzelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mathieu Gaud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Giorgos Katzelis made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Gaillet came free, but Giorgos Katzelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pagos FC's Themis Apostolakoglou got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lamine Valente made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omiros Kalopoulos during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Pagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Omiros Kalopoulos. 56 minutes into the match, Richard Gaillet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giorgos Katzelis. Pagos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Gaillet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Giorgos Katzelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Gaud in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Elegance Dijon got a corner. Pagos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brendan Menguy ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 65th match minute, Elegance Dijon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Moutard to maneuver through the defense. Brendan Menguy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Katzelis having to interfere. Giorgos Katzelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Gaud in the 69th minute of play. Bilal Jullien hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Gerasimos Maros came free, but Omer Grosse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pagos FC's Giorgos Katzelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Gaillet in the 73rd minute of play. Giorgos Katzelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Gaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes of play Pagos FC's Omiros Kalopoulos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Elegance Dijon booed when Pagos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Kalopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Lachenal in the 80th minute of play forced Pagos FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Katzelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Valerios Papadimidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Elegance Dijon's Jules Moutard got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Nikos Micheloudakis charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Micheloudakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Pagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Micheloudakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Mathieu Gaud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elegance Dijon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Elegance Dijon fully deserved thier win.
