The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Erwin Billault kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anthony Volpe. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. When Adriano Galante fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squadra de Pippe's protests and gave Adriano Galante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute Erwin Billault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Volpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Rathmore Lime Tree's Toufik Loir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 16th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Billault to maneuver through the defense. After 17 minutes, Francesco Sardella made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rathmore Lime Tree's Alix Geoffray tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilian Fauré to maneuver through the defense. Anthony Volpe was a little too slow when Erwin Billault got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Rathmore Lime Tree's Toufik Loir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anthony Volpe. That made the score 4-1 after 30 minutes of play. With a little luck, Squadra de Pippe's Anthony Volpe got control of the ball when Toufik Loir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Squadra de Pippe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Toufik Loir scored to the left of an out of position Anthony Volpe, making the score, 5-1. Toufik Loir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Anthony Volpe made a huge save. Kilian Fauré charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kilian Fauré the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Kilian Fauré got a free kick in the 46th minute. Squadra de Pippe's Davide Mameli couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rathmore Lime Tree. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toufik Loir to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra de Pippe's zone, Erwin Billault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Volpe came out of the goal and Erwin Billault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Toufik Loir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthony Volpe was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Alberto Bernardini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erwann Bray during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Erwann Bray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Davide Mameli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alix Geoffray skillfully saved the ball. Anthony Volpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Loth in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Erwin Billault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Volpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rathmore Lime Tree's Toufik Loir got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Toufik Loir notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Squadra de Pippe's Anthony Volpe. Anthony Volpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Toufik Loir came free, but Anthony Volpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toufik Loir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rathmore Lime Tree's Carl Mischler was substituted for Pierre-Antoine Fouche. In the 76th minute, Toufik Loir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Amine Pinault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Volpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Amine Pinault got free in front of the goal in the 80th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Anthony Volpe was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rathmore Lime Tree's Amine Pinault got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Amine Pinault notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Squadra de Pippe's Anthony Volpe. Anthony Volpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilbert Cosson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 93 minutes in the game Ciro Ferrante did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniele Luongo. After a rather tough play, Squadra de Pippe's Ciro Ferrante got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
