Silvério Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Nuno Vasconcelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvério Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Silvério Vasconcelos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos. Nuno Vasconcelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armindo Silveira hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, MZ Fénix's Silvério Vasconcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Vasconcelos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Silvério Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Silvério Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Silvério Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Vasconcelos. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvério Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 33 minutes into the game, Silvério Vasconcelos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nuno Vasconcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Silvério Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Fénix's protests and gave Silvério Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute of the match MZ Fénix got a corner. Academia Monte Gordo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Américo Vasconcelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 47 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Josué Câmara.

The wind increased when Sabino Domingos made the kick off in the second half. Silvério Vasconcelos had several of the Academia Monte Gordo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Nuno Vasconcelos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Silvério Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicolas Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nuno Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvério Vasconcelos scored 0-7 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Vasconcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvério Vasconcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Vasconcelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvério Vasconcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Monte Gordo from getting a goal against them. MZ Fénix's Silvério Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvério Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Vasconcelos having to make a save. In the 80th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Câmara to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Vasconcelos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 82nd playminute. Academia Monte Gordo's Nuno Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Oliveira in the 87th minute of play. Lázaro Oliveira scored 0-10 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Vasconcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Nuno Vasconcelos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nuno Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Academia Monte Gordo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MZ Fénix were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
