Rúben Trigueiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Prats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emmanuel Santiago in the 10th minute. Boca Juniors's Emmanuel Santiago was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rúben Trigueiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Dionisio Prats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Bibiano Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rúben Trigueiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Prats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rúben Trigueiro having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, ZEZOM TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Bibiano Ferrer came free, but Rúben Trigueiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Sacadura during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes ZEZOM TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Sacadura. Dionisio Prats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when ZEZOM TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentim Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rúben Trigueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Prats in the 26th minute of play. Dawid Bulkiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dawid Bulkiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute of the match, Amílcar Mota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benigno Sabina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Amílcar Mota put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benigno Sabina. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Sinforoso Orozco got a free kick in the 45th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Afonso Sacadura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZEZOM TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Sacadura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Afonso Sacadura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Sabina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílcar Mota went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. ZEZOM TEAM's Rúben Trigueiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ZEZOM TEAM from getting a goal against them. If Rainerio Obis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rúben Trigueiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Prats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ZEZOM TEAM's Ricardo Carvalho got a free kick in the 76th minute. Dionisio Prats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Dionisio Prats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rúben Trigueiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Prats in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rúben Trigueiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If José Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Benigno Sabina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenzo Zurica hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Emmanuel Santiago almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ZEZOM TEAM's Rúben Trigueiro did a great save. Boca Juniors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
