Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marco Assendelft kicked off to start the match. Wilco Korfs's late challenge caught a Winksele 2016's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilco Korfs helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, De hijgende Hertjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilco Korfs to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Winksele 2016's Renaud Van Heurick got a free kick in the 10th minute. Henk van der Werff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias De Cat in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Assendelft came free, but Jozef Hemeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Christopher Stas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk van der Werff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fokke Kosterman helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes De hijgende Hertjes got a freekick which was hit by Fokke Kosterman. After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's Leendert Zuurman got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of De hijgende Hertjes booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaud Segers didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Winksele 2016 fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Winksele 2016's Matias De Cat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The De hijgende Hertjes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Winksele 2016 were winning 0-1.

In the 55th match minute, De hijgende Hertjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leendert Zuurman to maneuver through the defense. Winksele 2016's Renaud Van Heurick got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilco Korfs was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 62nd minute, Wilco Korfs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes De hijgende Hertjes got a freekick which was hit by Leendert Zuurman. Henk van der Werff made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Matias De Cat sent off a good shot on target. De hijgende Hertjes's attentive Leendert Zuurman managed to snatch the ball when Romeu Cabral made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Henk van der Werff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias De Cat went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Matias De Cat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 79 in the game by Matias De Cat from a close distance when the talented Henk van der Werff managed to make a qualified save. De hijgende Hertjes's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's Atilla Tüzüner got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Erik Oorschot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes of play, Winksele 2016's Matias De Cat made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henk van der Werff was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 87 minutes, Alex Belém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De hijgende Hertjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Belém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of De hijgende Hertjes booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaud Segers didn't get a good kick on the ball. De hijgende Hertjes's Jonas Fiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Winksele 2016. Winksele 2016's Jozef Hemeleers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Assendelft in the 91st minute of play. After 94 played minutes De hijgende Hertjes got a freekick which was hit by Marco Assendelft. The Winksele 2016 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
