The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alwin Baatenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Thomasse in the 24th minute of the match. PSV Eindhoven's Alwin Baatenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey Thomasse in the 26th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harm Reis made a kick off. Elmar Berends kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Kelmond S.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jeffrey Thomasse hit a great ball. Alwin Baatenburg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronald Maasland went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Ronald Maasland took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alwin Baatenburg. Alwin Baatenburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 70th minute, Jeffrey Thomasse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alwin Baatenburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Kelmond S.C.'s Brain Gerfen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ton Staarman in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PSV Eindhoven! The referee gave Kelmond S.C. a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gerrit Bemmel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PSV Eindhoven's Alwin Baatenburg. 10-0. The PSV Eindhoven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alwin Baatenburg should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, PSV Eindhoven's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Anneese came free, but Alwin Baatenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
