When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Sempels made a kick off. Asi Ohorellas short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Roderik De Fauw to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Róbert Gogoľ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Sempels in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lukáč Baňák managed to get in a good position for a shot. JuSi Malacky's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáč Baňák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roderik De Fauw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Asi Ohorella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JuSi Malacky fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Ivan Kuzma fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. JuSi Malacky's Róbert Gogoľ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Sempels in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tjorven Grootaers in the 88th minute of play forced JuSi Malacky's goalkeeper Róbert Gogoľ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
